To fulfill Bandai Namco Holdings' 3-year scheduled restructure plans, Bandai Namco Pictures was established on April 2015 to focus on the creation of new characters and franchises, specifically those targeted towards children and families. All productions that Sunrise (now known Bandai Namco Filmworks) produces that are targeted to kids and families were transferred to Bandai Namco Pictures.
Bandai Namco Pictures opened a division in Osaka in August 2018, for production time shortening purposes. A year later in October, the company acquired Studio Dub and repurposed to become their division in Iwaki, though Studio Dub still used as a brand for their projects.
This logo is still used on their social media feeds.
2022–present[]
Following the 2021 restructuring, Bandai Namco Pictures adopted the group-wide Bandai Namco logo on April 1, 2022.
