On November 20, 2023, Bank Jasa Jakarta launched digital banking service Bank Saqu, following the acquisition of the bank by Astra Financial and Taiwan’s WeLab on September 19, 2022. It marks the return of Astra Financial to the banking sector after the acquisition of Permata Bank by Bangkok Bank in 2020.
On May 21, 2025, Bank Jasa Jakarta announced that the bank would be renamed Bank Saqu Indonesia, which took effect on May 27, 2025.
