Baraem launched on January 16, 2009, as the first preschool channel in the Arab world.
This was designed by London-based design agency Radiant Studios, just like its sister channel Al Jazeera Children's Channel.
Its idents feature squircled animals interacting with each other, which then show the Baraem logo without the yellow smiling squircle.
A European feed on CanalSat launched on February 11, 2009.

On January 1, 2017, 15 days before the channel's eighth birthday, a new look was introduced, which happened at the same time every beIN channel logo received a unified look. This new look was designed in-house by beIN.
This new logo was given a 3D refresh, which makes it even bubblier. The yellow squircle at its side was removed.
This time, the squircled animals were replaced with generic ones interacting with each other, ending with the new Baraem logo. The jingle remains the same, but it's sung a bit differently.
The European feed closed down on June 1, 2018.
