Beeline is a Russian telecommunications brand, & is the flagship brand of VEON, a global telecommunications company headquartered in the Netherlands but owned largely by Russian interests; particularly Altimo, a subsidiary of the Alfa Group.
In addition to its home market—where it competes with MegaFon, MTS and Tele2—the Beeline brand is present in several Eurasian countries (where it may or may not be owned by VEON): Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as Laos in Southeast Asia.
