Motto[]

Beijing 2022 (Motto)

The official motto of the games - "Together for a Shared Future" (一起向未来) was unveiled on 17 September 2021 by the Organising Committee at a ceremony at the Capital Museum in Beijing.[1] The motto is the result of an exhaustive process from May to September 2021, and was chosen from a selection of 79 options from Chinese universities.

In 2019, the mascots were introduced. Bing Dwen Dwen (冰墩墩), the 2022 Winter Olympic mascot is panda with a suit of ice, a heart of gold and a love for all things sports. Shuey Rhon Rhon (雪容融), the 2022 Winter Paralympic mascot is a lantern that represents harvest, celebration, warmth and light. Both mascots' names are written in Gwoyeu Romatzyh romanization, and the mascots were designed by Cao Xue and Jiang Yufan.
