The Beijing 2022 medals were unveiled at a special 'Together for a Shared Future – 100 Days To Go' event on 26 October 2021. Named the "Tong Xin" (同心, Tóngxīn), meaning "Together as one", the shapes of the medals resemble the ones used in Beijing 2008, mainly to be in line with the Beijing 2022 organising committee's plans for a "streamlined, safe and splendid" Games.
Obverse[]
The medals' obverse side has the Beijing 2022 emblem logo engraved on the centre with 5 rings and the official event name in Chinese alongside the name for the event the medal is awarded at the bottom
Reverse[]
The medals' reverse side has five giant rings with the middle two resembling the snow and sky of China with the last one having the event's English name and the Olympic Rings or the Paralympic Agitos in the middle. The first ring of the Paralympic medal's reverse side has the event's names un Universal Braille on both the left and right sides.
