Bindass (meaning carefree), launched in 2007 as UTV Bindass, is a Hindi youth entertainment channel that airs youth-oriented programs along with some music shows, much like MTV and Zing, as well as the now-defunct Channel V. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company India, which acquired Star TV in 2019.

Bindass was scheduled to shut down on 1 December 2021, along with several other Disney and Star channels in India,[1] three years after the closure of Star’s Channel V in 2018 (before Star’s acquisition by Disney). However, on 26 November 2021, these changes were indefinitely postponed, due to a delay in the TRAI’s new tariff rules, currently, the channel's shutdown has been cancelled. [2]
