Bipop Carire was formed in 1999 by the merger of Banca Popolare di Brescia and Cassa di Risparmio di Reggio Emilia (respectively, Bipop and Carire).

Boxed version
In 2002, the bank started using Capitalia branding after its merger with Banca di Roma.
2007–2008[]
White version
Because of Capitalia being bought (and absorbed) by UniCredit Group, the brand started using UniCredit branding. However, just a few months later, the brand was discontinued.
