Bitė is a Lithuanian telecommunications company that operates in Lithuania and Latvia, offering mobile and internet services as well as business services. The company was established in Lithuania in 1995 and started operations in Latvia in 2005. It competes with Telia (Lithuania), LMT (Latvia) and Tele2 (both countries).
The Lithuanian word bitė means honeybee. Since the letter ė is present only in the Lithuanian language, the company is known as Bite in Latvia.
