On March 13, 2013, BlogTV was purchased by rival steaming website YouNow. BlogTV closed down on March 27, 2013 and merged with YouNow.
Failed revival[]
There was an attempt at reviving blogtv.com. However, though successful the new owners failed to properly launch the new site.
