On April 15, 2009, the former Televisión Boliviana (ENTV) company was liquidated by order of Evo Morales and the channel adopted a placeholder name (Canal 7) and a text-only screen bug that doubled as its logo.

In late July, Canal 7 changed its logo, with all of the text being in the same size and height. The "7" numeral is now written in Brush Script.
