Boomerang (also known as Boomerang from Cartoon Network) is a cable television channel and an on-demand service. The television channel showcases "classic" cartoons (1930s to 1980s, usually Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes), and former Cartoon Network shows, but also used to show in the current Cartoon Network lineup like Teen Titans Go! and The Amazing World of Gumball. The brand began as a programming block on Cartoon Network in 1992, and later launched as a channel in 2000, and it created an app in 2017.

Boomerang was spun off as its own channel on April 1, 2000. The logo’s main element is a "B", fashioned both after a boomerang and as a "Googie"-style blob. This mid-century modern B, along with the brush-lettered font that accompanied it and the star motif underneath, was designed to be reminiscent of popular design trends from the era in which most cartoons featured on the network aired (generally the mid-fifties to mid-sixties). This logo was originally designed, animated and produced by Primal Screen. 2010 saw the removal of the border surrounding the Cartoon Network logo, despite CN introducing a new logo that same year, but it could still be seen in its original form in bumpers until the 2015 rebrand. This logo was still seen on Adult Swim's sign-off bumper from 2014 to 2019.

On January 19, 2015, the logo was replaced by a new modern logo consisting of a capitalized "B" in the center of the box with the Boomerang text on the two sides of the box. This was the first time in almost 15 years where the logo redesigned. Art&Graft created the rebrand in conjunction with Primal Screen, who designed the previous branding. The Thailand version was the last international feed to adopt this logo.
