On October 31, 2014, National Geographic Channel Canada announced that the show would not continue for a fourth season following a ruling by the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, in which the Canada Border Services Agency stopped Force Four Entertainment from continuing to film the series in Canada.
In 2016, the show was replaced by Border Security: America's Front Line, which focused on American border security.
