1999-2000[]
Brewsters was first established in 1999 as a spinoff brand from Brewers Fayre, to distinguish a group of pub restaurants specifically for families. Every restaurant had a large indoor soft play area called the Fun Factory, children's entertainers and ice cream machines.

2000-2004[]
2004-2005[]

All 149 Brewsters pubs were integrated back into the Brewers Fayre brand in late 2005, as the brand had lost its credibility with adult diners. All restaurants retained their indoor Fun Factories, although a small number of outlets reduced them in size and renamed them Play Zones, to expand their dining space.
