Bricostore first expanded to Hungary in 1999, then to Romania in March 2002.
2004–2015[]
Bricostore expanded for the last time, in Croatia, in 2004.
The company first left France in 2001, with the sale of all but one of their stores to Bricorama. They later left Hungary in 2012 and Croatia in 2013. Bricostore's final stores, located in Romania, were replaced on March 14, 2014 following their purchase by Brico Dépôt. Some stores continued to use the old name, the last one of them having replaced it with Brico Dépôt on March 15, 2015.[1]
