This logo started appearing on BEA timetables in 1957. The letters were inherited from an earlier logo which included a wing symbol above the B.[2]
1968-1974
This logo was introduced in 1968. It was part of an identity created by Henrion Design Associates.
In 1974, BEA was merged wih BOAC to form British Airways.
