CBS Paramount Television

CBS Paramount Television was formed on January 16, 2006 two years after the merger of CBS Broadcast International and Paramount International Television. The company had two divisions CBS Paramount Network Television (which was the result of the merger with CBS Productions) and CBS Paramount Domestic Television (which handled both first run and off-network syndication). The Paramount name began winding down in 2007 when CPDT was reincorporated as CBS Television Distribution, and then in 2009 the network arm was rebranded as CBS Television Studios after CBS' license to use the Paramount name expired.
