CBeebies was launched on 11 February 2002 in the United Kingdom, and in December 2013, an HD simulcast was launched. The logo was designed by Lambie-Nairn and remained unchanged until 15 March 2023. The channel plays preschool content for children aged 6 and under. This logo is still used on its worldwide website as of September 2024.

In 2008, the channel was launched in Latin America and on 13 April 2017, the channel was closed along with BBC Entertainment. The channel is still operational in Poland.

This logo first appeared in 2021 for promos and trailers. It was also used on Freeview's TV Guide.
