For a few months in 1981, this version of the 1980-1983 logo featured the CTV logo at the bottom, in the space normally occupied by the "Island Television" slogan. It was used by CHEK after it became solely affiliated with CTV upon disaffiliating from CBC Television on January 5, 1981, ending a dual network affiliation the station held since 1963.
