This version of the CHLT-TV logo had a similar design to the logo of Hamilton, Ontario station CHCH-TV. Trois-Rivières station CHEM-TV, which began as a semi-satellite of CHLT, used a similar logo at its launch in 1976, but with the number 8 replacing the 7 in the first CHEM-TV logo.
