On June 20, 2009, at 6 PM, after playing "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day, CFUL flipped to Top 40/CHR as 90.3 Amp Radio; the new format launched with a marathon of 10,000 songs played commercial-free, with the first being "Don't Stop the Music" by Rihanna. Afterward, the station changed its call sign to CKMP-FM. The "AMP" branding was formerly used on CBS Radio-owned CHR formatted radio stations in the US such as KAMP-FM (Los Angeles), WBMP-FM (New York), WODS (Boston), WZMP (Philly), WQMP (Orlando) and WDZH (Detroit).
