1997–2001
In 1997, CKVU became part of the Global Television Network. Instead of using individual station brands, Global owner Canwest chose to use the generic Global brand for all of its stations, including CKVU.
2001–2002
On September 1, 2001, CanWest Global-owned CTV affiliate CHAN took over the Global affiliation from CKVU. CHAN was part of Western International Communications, which CanWest acquired one year earlier. The station went independent as a result. This logo was used as CanWest prepared to sell the station to CHUM Limited, the owner of independent station CITY-TV in Toronto.
2002–2005
In 2002, CKVU was branded as Citytv after CITY-TV, thus kicking off the Citytv network.
2005–2012; 2018–present
2012–2018
Citytv became simply City in December 2012.
