CKXT-TV converted to a simulcast of sister channel Sun News Network on April 18, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. ET. The station voluntarily signed off the air on November 1, 2011, amid a CRTC inquiry about its use of the CKXT signal to simulcast Sun News Network; its license was revoked by the CRTC on November 21, 2011.
