CTVN Plus is a Bengali language entertainment channel from Kolkata based AKD group, who operate Uttar Bangla and Calcutta News channels.
On October 27, 2006 CTVN Plus has debuted as a full-fledged satellite television channel. But originally the channel was started it's journey in the year of 1999 as a local cable channel. CTVN AKD Plus is a popular channel among all over bengali population in West Bengal, Tripura, Assam, Orissa, Jharkhand, Delhi, Maharashtra and Bihar.
