In March 1969, Consumer Value Stores rebranded to CVS, though it would keep the "Consumer Value Stores" name as a subtitle beneath its logo until 1984.
April 1969-July 1969
Despite being the name being changed to CVS Pharmacy in 1996, this logo was used in tandem with the next logo on non-pharmacy stores until 2016.
In 1996, CVS changed its name to CVS Pharmacy; the logo is the same as the previous logo, but a slash and the word Pharmacy have been added in. This logo is still used in many stores.
In 2016, a heart was added to the logo and the backslash was dropped.
