The Boost bar was introduced in 1985 and contained coconut and caramel. In 1989 it was joined by two new variants, peanut and biscuit. Both coconut and peanut variants were discontinued in 1994.

This overhaul saw a completely new wordmark, and the main colour of the wrapper switched to blue, which has been used ever since. The Cadbury's logo was also placed in a box.

A slight edit in 1996 saw the blue/red/white colour scheme kept but made some slight changes including a new wordmark and the removal of the box in which the Cadbury's logo sat.

2003–2009[]

Boost03

This logo was originally introduced on the Boost Guarana variant in 2003 and was made the bar's main logo following the switch from Cadbury's to Cadbury.

2009–2013[]

Boost09

This logo marked the end of the blue/red/white colour scheme after 15 years and introduced a new blue/black/gold variant.

2013–2018[]

Boost13

In 2010, Cadbury began fazing out their elliptical device, nicknamed the 'Cadbury Swirl', on their products, starting with one of their most well-known brands - Dairy Milk - and by 2015, the 'Cadbury Swirl' had been removed from all their brands.

2018–2021[]

A slight redesign with an altered font was introduced in 2018.
