Canal 19 started broadcasting on November 16, 1995 as a women's channel, which lasted for four years.
Canal 19 (Nickelodeon era)[]
1999–2000[]
In 1999, it was renamed to Canal 19 as a Nickelodeon channel, which was part of a partnership between Megavision and MTV Networks International.
2000–2009[]
2009–2012[]

In 2009, the logo was slightly modified and the "TV" word was removed. In 2012, Channel 19 dropped Nick programming entirely after the agreement between Megavisión and Viacom was terminated.

2022-present[]
On June 20, 2022, Grupo Megavisión managers began laying off some workers in a gradual change over a year. The name changed back to Canal 19 ceasing to be the news channel.
