Canal 8 UCV Televisión was a regional television station from UCV TV in La Serena, Chile, launched in 1974 (originally as a repeater station in 1971). In 1994 was moved to Channel 9 (Canal 9). But at the same time began to undergo changes, until closing definitively in 2002, becoming another repeater station from UCV TV.
