Canara Bank is one of the largest government-owned banks in India was founded in 1908. It is headquartered in Bangalore (Bengaluru) in the southern state of Karnataka, from where it derives its name (Canara is a historical name for the coastal region of Karnataka).

Canara Bank introduced a new logo in late December 2007, shortly before its centenary. It consists of two interlocking triangles in yellow and blue.[2][3][4][5]
