1997–2010[]
Carrefour arrived in Colombia in 1997, but opened its first store in Bogotá on Calle 80 in 1998[1].
2010–2013[]
This logo was only used in some minor/few stores. On October 18, 2012, Cencosud bought the Carrefour subsidiary in Colombia for 2.6 billion dollars. In May 2013 on an unknown date, all Carrefour supermarkets and hypermarkets in the Colombian division closed after 15 years of operation. In July 2013, the stores were converted into Jumbo and Metro brands.
