Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Limited, branded as Cathay Dragon, was the regional division of Cathay Pacific Airways, the flag carrier of Hong Kong. Founded in 1985 as Dragonair, it adopted its current name in 2016, two years after its parent airline’s rebrand. It played the same role as SilkAir did to Singapore Airlines, flying to destinations across eastern and South Asia, and was an affiliate member of the oneworld airline alliance.
Cathay Dragon ceased all operations on 21 October 2020 and was folded back into the parent brand.
