On October 7, 2014, after the 2013-14 season, the league folded. The remaining seven CHL teams (Allen Americans, Brampton Beast, Missouri Mavericks, Quad City Mallards, Rapid City Rush, Tulsa Oilers and Wichita Thunder) joined the ECHL.[1]
