Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a franchise of the Indian Premier League, the largest T20 cricket tournament in India. It is based in Chennai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, and owned by India Cements. It is one of the most successful teams in the league, winning five titles (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023), along with Mumbai Indians.

CSK was suspended for the 2016 and 2017 seasons along with Rajasthan Royals. The interim teams were Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiant.
