Typography:  Bank Gothic
Launched:  April 2008

In April 2008, Chipotle Mexican Grill began deviating away from its original logo with this transitional logo, utilizing a Starbucks-esque design carrying over the chili pepper icon from a variant of the previous logo and encircling it with the full name, now completely rendered in Bank Gothic (similar to the variant from the previous logo, too). This was however, short-lived as in early 2009, this logo was scrapped in favor of a modernized interpretation of it, plus a completely new logo to go along with.
