Later, the entire Hucke brand was absorbed into Nestlé, taking all the brands that were owned by Hucke such as Tritón, Sahne Nuss, Trencito, and Negrita, so that they now belong to Nestlé. So the word "Hucke" above the logo was replaced by the Nestlé one.

On July 21, 2021, Nestlé announced that starting in October, they would change the name of this cookie to Chokita, instead of Negrita, so as not to discriminate against people of dark skin, and so that no one is offended. Nestlé also stated that this would not affect the cookie's original recipe. They also changed the shape surrounding the word Chokita from blue to purple.
