Cidla is the third older Portuguese fuel company founded by Sacor one year after its estabilishment. Its name came from "Combustíveis, Indústrias e Domésticos, Lda.". In 1979 this company, merged with its parent company and two others (Sonap and Petrosul), forming Petrogal.
