In early 2004, CODETEL was rebranded to Verizon Dominicana after the company was acquired in the year 2000. The identity was standing for three years until the company was sold to American Movil in 2006. Logo used from February 2, 2004 to January 31st, 2007.

On February 1st, 2007, Codetel returns as landline brand after the complete acquisition of America Movil, in 2011 was unified with Claro to becomes a single entity.

Current logo since February 1st, 2007, the company was focused on mobile phone services until 2011, after unified CODETEL that same year now is currently as the only entity at telecomunications on Dominican Republic.
