The Penguins have a different design. The oldest known Club Penguin prototype. The game was developed by RocketSnail Games. It was released on July 30, 2000 and it closed on December 2000.

Penguin Chat

On February 3, 2003 the game was released and it included lots of new features than Experimental Penguins. The game was closed in October, 2005.

Penguin Chat 3

March 2005-October 2005

Penguin Chat 3 logo

On March 31, Penguin Chat 3 was released and it was the final version to create the virtual world. On October 28, the game was officially closed 4 days after Club Penguin was released. New Horizon Interactive Studios supported to RocketSnail Games in developing the new version of Penguin Chat 3.

October 2005–December 2007

Club Penguin logo

Club Penguin was released as a beta testing on August 22, 2005 and it closed 2 hours later. The game was released offitially on October 24, alongside its logo.

December 2007–April 2008

Club Penguin logo 2007-2008

On August 1, 2007, Club Penguin was bought by The Walt Disney Company. In December 2007, the logo had minor changes, only the phrase "Part of the Walt Disney Company" so that the players realized what happened.

April 2008–October 2012

Club Penguin Logo

In April 2008, the phrase was summarized by the word "Disney." The outline of the logo and the word "Disney" were blue.

October 2012–March 2017

Club Penguin Logo 2012

In October 24, 2012, for its 7th anniversary, they changed their logo to a more sleeker look. The "Disney" trademark logo had changed to a shadowed white, and the word "Club" changed to a milk-colored white. The game shut down on March 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m., to make way for Club Penguin Island.
