On August 18, 2018, The company changed its name to Cocomelon. According to a video,w when the channel initially rebranded, the videos since mid-January 2017 were updated with the Cocomelon brand. Eventually, over the years, all the videos since the channel first switched to nursery rhyme video content were updated with the Cocomelon brand, which ranges as early as 2013.
The channel hit its biggest milestone of 100 million subscribers in 2020, later it surpassed PewDiePie.
