1982–1984[]
In 1982, Relativity Records established Combat Records as a sublabel specializing in metal and hardcore punk.
1984–1986[]
Combat introduced a redesigned logo with a red color variant in 1984.
1986–1988[]
Combat added the subtext: "A Division Of Relativity Records Inc." in 1986.
1988–1991 (primary); 1992–present (secondary)[]
Combat removed the subtext and reused the redesigned 1984 logos in 1988. Combat was shut down in 1991 by Relativity and Sony Music, but continued to be used as a secondary logo from 1992 onwards.
2017–present (relaunch)[]
Combat Records was relaunched in 2017 as an imprint for EMP Label Group. The logo was updated with the inclusion of a skull.
Combat Core[]
1985–1986[]
Combat Records created the imprint Combat Core for certain metal and punk releases.
1986–1987[]
Combat Core's logo was redesigned in 1986. The Combat Core imprint was discontinued in 1987, but relaunched as In–Effect.
In-Effect[]
1989–1991 (primary); 1992 (secondary)[]
In 1989, Combat Core was relaunched as In-Effect as a sister label to Relativity and Combat. In-Effect was also discontinued in 1991 by Relativity and Sony Music, and was used as a secondary label briefly in 1992.
