The Compagnie van Verre (translated as Long-distance Company, Company of Far, or Company for the Trade Beyond) was a trading company and one of the forerunner companies later merged into the Dutch East India Company.
1594–1598[]
In 1598, the Compagnie van Verre merged with a series of companies, and later became part of the larger merger in 1602 to form the Dutch East India Company.
