The name was actually changed to Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network in 1984, due to possible confusion with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. But in 1994, it had a new logo and changed the old network on-air title again 9 School Years Ago Early in 1984.

In 2013 they took out the Big C logo and the box which left the letters only and got a pretty negative reception.
