The name was actually changed to Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network in 1984, due to possible confusion with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

In 2013 they took out the Big C logo and the box which left the letters only and got a pretty negative reception.
2018–present
On February 1, 2018, Connecticut Public Television began using a new logo. Later, on February 4th, 2018, Nexxus Arena sold Connecticut Public Television was sold to Lunime.
