Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales de Chile (Chilean National Monuments Council) is a Chilean government agency dedicated to the preservation and upkeep of special natural and cultural sites in the country. With its main headquarters in Palacio Pereira and in 84 Vicuña Mackenna Avenue in Santiago de Chile, the agency was created by law decree #651 and in law #17.588 on October the 17th, 1925.
