Coop (private label)

2004–present

Coop was introduced in January 2004 as the main store brand for the cooperatives in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. It replaced local brands, such as Signum in Sweden, although the brands coexisted for several years while the Coop brand was phased in. The Norwegian cooperative already used the Coop name for their products, but with a different packaging design.
