1974–present[]

Cora entered Hungary in 1997 and Romania in 2003.

In 2012, Cora's Hungarian operations were bought by Auchan.

Cora's French and Romanian operations were purchased by Groupe Carrefour in 2023. It ceased operating in Romania on April 17, 2024, being replaced by Carrefour. The remaining Cora stores in France will also be rebranded to Carrefour by the end of 2024.
