The Corporacion Popular de Ahorro y Vivenda (Corpavi), was founded in 1973 by the banks Popular, Ganadero, National Savings Fund, Corferias, Previsora Seguros, Territorial Credit Institute and Popular Financial Corporation. It was an institution with state participation.

Corpavi ceased to exist in 1996 after being privatized two years earlier and then merged with Colpatria.
