Around 1992, Cubavisión adopted its current "land sphere" symbol, which was already used by the general Televisión Cubana branding. This logo was designed by Eduardo Luis Sardiñas Montañéz in 1991, which also designed the Tele Rebelde's logo.^{[citation needed]}
