2013-2015[]
In 2013, Cyanogen Inc. was formed to commercialize the CyanogenMod ROM. The Cyanogen OS ROM appeared in some Android phones as its preinstalled software skin such as OnePlus One, YU Yureka and Lenovo ZUK Z1.
2015-2017[]
In 2016, both Cyanogen OS and CyanogenMod were discontinued. The original CyanogenMod was later forked and being replaced by Lineage OS in January 2017.
In 2017, Cyanogen Inc. changed its name to Cyngn Inc. as the company shifted its focus to self-driving industrial vehicles.
