DEDEC (an initialism of Detroit Deere Corporation) was a planned joint venture between General Motors' Detroit Diesel-Allison and John Deere & Co.. The intention was to merge both companies' medium- and heavy-duty diesel engine divisions into one firm.

The venture was announced on November 18, 1986, with a tentative headquarters in Livonia, Michigan and projected starting date of January 1, 1987. Due to legal and financial complications though, the plan would be called off by GM on March 27, 1987.
